Personal information
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data

We do not intentionally target people in the EU as readers of our blog, email list subscribers, or as customers. However, we are still taking the following steps to protect the privacy of all of our reader and customers. We will continue to do our absolute best to always consider the privacy of our valued readers and customers.

We offer mailing list options too. When you provide your email address to us for one of our courses, quick guides, or for our regular email newsletter, we will add you to our mail email list and you will occasionally be sent an email with a broad range of topics from travel to crafting and more.
If you provide your email address to us for any reason via one of these signups, you will be subscribed to our email list. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link on all of our emails. We have never and will never sell our email list.
