Sea Spray Stitch
To work the Sea Spray Stitch, knit the previously slipped stitches into the next stitch on left hand needle.
For the majority of the pattern, you will be picking up stitches from 3 rows and knitting them into the next stitch. Essentially this is knitting 4 stitches together.
This is what it should look like:
Note that on the first and last rows that use this technique, you will not have as many slipped stitches to pick up and knit into the next stitch.

Thanks, Micki! It’s a simple pattern once you’ve learned the basic stitches (knit and purl).

This is so interesting. I don’t knit but my sister does. Always amazed at her ability to take yarn and make it into something amazing. Thank you for sharing.

I LOVE this patter but only have enough yarn for a dish cloth. What is the pattern stitch count?
Holly
It’s worked in multiples of 6+2 🙂
