Linen Stitch
Linen Stitch produces a dense fabric with very little drape for a hand knit. It is very similar to woven fabric, hence its name.
It is a reversible stitch that is worked over an even number of stitches.
This is another dense stitch. Consider going up in needle size if you find your work is pulling or puckering.
Setup
With Color C, work 2 rows of St st.
Stitch Pattern
Row 1 – k2 *wyif sl1 pwise, wyib k1* to last 2 sts, k2
Row 2 – p2 *wyib sl1 pwise, wyif p1* to last 2 sts, p2
Repeat rows 1 and 2 for 1.5″ (2.5″), then change to Color D.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 in Color D until work measures 3.25″ (5.25″).
Finishing
Work 2 rows of St st.
Leave your stitches on the needle for next week. Weave in your tails.

So thankful to have an easier pattern stitch sequence this week.. Reminds me of the seed stitch.
