About the All-Day Dining Deal

Each individual who purchases an All-Day Dining Deal at Busch Gardens Williamsburg is entitled to one meal, one side or dessert, and one non-alcoholic drink every 90 minutes. This deal is available for adults and children. Each diner needs their own deal; the meals are not shareable.

The All-Day Dining Deal is accepted at 6 locations throughout the park:

1. Das Festhaus (Oktoberfest) – A dining hall featuring live entertainment that serves classics like bratwurst, knockwurst, corned beef, and sauerkraut.

2. Beste Brezeln und Bier (Oktoberfest) – A Quick Bites stand featuring sandwiches and hot dogs served on pretzel buns.

3. Squire’s Grille (England) – A purportedly English grill serving burgers, chicken tenders, and salads.

4. Trapper’s Smokehouse (New France) – A classic smokehouse featuring brisket, ribs, chicken, and homestyle sides.

5. Les Frites (France) – A Quick Bites stand offering a variety of topped French fries and poutine.

6. Marco Polo’s Marketplace (Italy) – An amphitheater-style restaurant featuring Italian, Asian, and Mediterranean meals and a robust kids’ menu.

Restaurants designated as “Quick Bites” have limited offerings for the dining deal. Diners are entitled to one entrée and one beverage, but are not able to use the dining deal toward a snack at these locations.

Cost

The adult All-Day Dining Deal is $49.99. The child’s deal is $24.99. Passholder discounts cannot be used on these deals. No other discounts can be used with this deal, either.

Sometimes the meal deal is bundled with a single-day admission ticket and is available for $39.99 (adults).

Our Experience

We purchased the All-Day Dining Deal at Busch Gardens for two children meal deals ($24.99 each) and one adult ($49.99). Taxes ($11.00) and a service fee ($6.99) brought the total to $117.96.

The website noted that those who purchase the plan will be issued a wristband, however we did not receive them on our visit.

Most eateries do not open until 11:00AM. By then, we’d already been on several attractions in Sesame Street Forest of Fun, Italy, and Festa Italia, so we hopped in line at Marco Polo’s Marketplace right as the doors opened.

Marco Polo’s Marketplace had, by far, the best variety of foods, particularly with regard to kids’ meals. They served up Asian, Italian, and Mediterranean options in addition to the standard fare of chicken nuggets and fries, Uncrustables (crustless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches), and macaroni and cheese that are found in all of the park’s restaurants.

At Marco Polo’s, I chose an Asian sampler meal while my kids chose spaghetti and orange chicken. We had to wait in multiple lines because the marketplace is set up like a food court, but they are capable kids who didn’t mind ordering their own foods. We met up by the dessert case to check out.

For dessert, we chose a chocolate cupcake, strawberry cheesecake, and fresh strawberries. While we did know that we were entitled to a dessert or snack with each meal, we completely underestimated the amount of food each meal would provide! We could barely finish what we ordered and immediately started strategizing how to best use our dining credits moving forward.

A few hours later, we were close to Das Festhaus and decided to grab a bite. The kids were enamored with this giant chocolate cake and each ordered a slice!

Our last meal of the day was at Trapper’s Smokehouse in New France. I ordered a sampler with apple cobbler and the kids each chose macaroni and cheese. The platter was delicious! The kids reported that the macaroni and cheese was pretty good, but ultimately we did not eat most of this meal as we were already stuffed.

Busch Gardens doesn’t offer clamshells or other to-go containers, so we packed up what we could with another plate just before leaving the park for the day.

Conclusion

Visitors who are in the park long enough to eat two full meals will recognize this deal for the bargain that it is!

Light eaters, visitors who packed snacks, and folks who prioritize the more aggressive rides (particularly if they are prone to motion sickness) can pass on this option.

I thought it was particularly nice to take the guesswork out of what our meals would cost. My kids loved it because it felt like an indulgence to have dessert more than once in a day!
