Our Daily Bread Bakery & Bistro

This one’s a short post, y’all. I just wanted to tell you about this adorable bakery chain I found in southwest Virginia called Our Daily Bread!

We had just finished up an amazing lunch at FarmBurguesa when we wandered down the street of Downtown Vinton. I just love a constitutional after a good meal.

We rounded the corner and found a new shop.

This bakery offers sweets, sandwiches, and more. Most notably, you can score this adorable sugar cookie for only $2.60! (Of course I was immediately drawn to the sheep-shaped cookies.)

I love just about anything with fleece or sprinkles, so I had to get one. It was delicious!

There are many other options, including macarons and cheesecake. We bought both.

The cheesecake was cut into bars, which made them easier to cut into smaller, shareable pieces. We were already stuffed from lunch, so we didn’t have them until later that day. They kept beautifully in the bridge.

Macarons are my kids’ favorite bakery treat. They had lemon, blueberry, and pistachio… all of them were delicious! They tend to still pick their favorites by color and went for the brightly-colored ones. I thought the pistachio was the best.
